From Drum Corps to Band Camp

Well, I had one day at home before heading off to school. Dad and I drove up to Kent on Tuesday, where I met with my percussion professor and the director of athletic bands, got my new Student ID, and moved into my dorm room.

I started off the week before classes start by jumping right in to learning the first show with the Marching Golden Flashes drumline. This group is bigger than any drum line I’ve been a part of so far. This is going to be a very different experience, and I can’t wait!
